A Handcrafted Archive of Reimagined Drum History

We live in a time when legendary breakbeats are deeply embedded in the DNA of electronic music. Yet sampling them has become a legal and ethical gray zone.
Break Beats Anthology offers a creative alternative. Each break in this collection was entirely remade from scratch. No original recordings were used. No samples were lifted. Every sound was rebuilt through precision drum performances using BFD3 and then processed to capture the sonic fingerprint of vintage vinyl and analog tape.

Classic Meets Impossible

This pack includes faithful recreations of the Amen Break, Think Break, Funky Drummer, and Impeach the President. But it also goes further. You will find breaks that never existed in sampleable form. Metallica’s Master of Puppets, Limp Bizkit’s Nookie, Korn's ADIDAS and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication are reborn as playable grooves. These were never meant to be sampled. Now they are.

From Studio Fidelity to Sampler Grit

Each break was run through a simulated vinyl process and recorded onto analog tape. The result was then sampled into an AKAI S950 to capture that unmistakable character that shaped the early days of Jungle and Drum & Bass. The pitch-shifted, tightly clipped texture of classic hardware samplers lives again in these loops. These are sounds you cannot fully replicate inside a DAW alone.
